
Local Site Coordinating Team Meets on the Continuing PAMANA Programs

The local Site Coordinating Team (SCT) thru the San Carlos City Planning and Development Coordinators Office met this morning, March 11, to update on-going projects for the Kapatiran para sa Progresibong Panlipunan Inc. (Kapatiran) members at Brgy. Bagonbon, this city.

The project was implemented by the local government unit and funded by the national government thru the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP). Said project includes livelihood programs, technical assistance and infrastructure projects.
The SCT bares the implementation of yellow corn farming, cattle raising/fattening and farm products marketing and trading assistance.
Erel Lim, Officer-In-Charge of the Public and Employment Services Office said they will handle the Masonry and Carpentry training of beneficiaries in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Provincial Office that will be held in Brgy. Bagonbon. The City Waterworks Department also discussed the implementation of the Level 2 water system in the settlement area or the Peace and Development Community (PDC) site.
The SCT meets every month to monitor the on-going projects for the beneficiaries who were former members of the left group including the Kapatiran who have now returned to the folds of the government.
Said Kapatiran representatives were very thankful for the on-going updates being presented to them.
