PNP-San Carlos joined the Simultaneous Barangaynihan in Region 6

The Philippine National Police in San Carlos City set up its community pantry in Brgy. 5 simultaneous with the Barangaynihan in the whole region 6 this morning, May 1.

A total of 441 individuals in Brgy. 5 benefitted from said pantry consisting of rice, sardines, variety of vegetables, coffee, sugar, milk, eggs, face mask and face shield.

Said initiative was made by the PNP personnel’s to show the bayanihan spirit between the police, the barangay and the community.

PLT. Roby Aurita Deputy For Admin/PIO said that the activity was also conducted in line with their previous activity, the Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko project encouraging PNP personnel to donate grocery packs or food for the less fortunate individuals.

She added that PNP – San Carlos is open for individuals who would like to donate for the project and encourage them to attend the barangaynihan for them to see how and for whom they gave their donations.

Anna Rose Pardoncillo, one of the benificiaries thanked the PNP-San Carlos and Brgy. 5 thru Punong Barangay Ruth Aba, Barangay workers and the individuals who donated for the said project.

Those who helped facilitate said event include PNP – San Carlos Police Community Relations (PCR) personnel headed by PSSG Ma Filomena Flores in partnership with Regional Mobile Force Battalion Region 6 – San Carlos, Brgy. 5 thru Punong Barangay Aba, Team Ewit and Team Witwew, other stakeholders and private individuals.
