PSRTI Conducts Survey on Local Farmers

The Philippines Statistics Research and Training Institute (PSRTI) conducted a survey of the local farmers in the city this morning, May 10, at the City Agriculture’s Office in So. Medina Brgy. Rizal.
Said event aimed at gathering data from the agricultural sector for its basic commodities, land usage including expenses and gains since year 2019.
and Integrated Demonstrated Area (ACIDA), Brgy. Rizal
Said data will be used as reference for future projects of the National Agricultural and Fisheries Modernization and Industrialization Plan.
The activity was simultaneously done with Bgry.Prosperidad.
Christy M. Samulde, Field Team Supervisor of region 6 said the data gathering covers the year 2019 before the pandemic.
Samulde added that the survey was done in two areas as per request of the Farm Superintendent, Mr.Prudencio Bayawa of the City Agriculture Office due to the distance between the city and rural area.
Minimum health protocol was observed during the event.
