Said lot which is 1,500 square meters is donated by the city government to the BFP for the construction of the latter’s new fire station building located at Brgy. Rizal.

Candido said that Cong. Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr. of the 1st District of Negros Occidental also showed support by assuring the BFP that he will allocate P20M budget for the construction of said new fire station.

He also said that the BFP Regional office will also allocate P1M for the repair of fire truck.

Said signing was witnessed by CINSP Kim M Celesio, Caretaker of BFP-Neg Occ. together with City Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona and SP Carlos Manuel L. Valmayor, City Administrator Atty. Estefanio S. Libutan Jr., San Carlos City Acting Fire Marshal CINSP Vencie Jojo P. Aldeguer, SFO2 Marilou L Dela Cruz, Dep. City Fire Marshal along with BFP staff from Region 6.
