City’s Annual Tree Planting Starts

Congressman Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr., San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo and Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona led the first day of the Annual Tree Planting Activity this morning, July 2 in Brgy. Prosperidad.

Around 440 seedlings of Narra, Tugas, Bacan and Ulayan trees were planted during the activity participated by Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) members and representatives of the different local and private agencies and organizations.

Said activity facilitated by the City Environment Management Office (CEMO) was originally scheduled every 4th of July but due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, schedule was stretched for 3 days (July 2-4, 2021) and only a limited number of employees per office were allowed to participate to follow the necessary minimum health protocol.
