
City Conducts Inspections on Establishments

The city government of San Carlos thru the Business Permit and Licensing Office, City Legal Office and City Health Office inspected several establishments of the city for the re-implementation on the guidelines of the Safety Seal Certification Program this morning, June 13.


At least 4 establishments including East West Rural Bank Inc., Munsterrific, Jollibee – City Mall and Pure Gold were looked into if they follow the specific guidelines of the Safety Seal Certification Program or Memorandum Circular No. 21-01 s. 2021 set by the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
Said memorandum aimed at assuring the consumers and the public in general of the establishments’ compliance with the minimum public health standards set by the government; encouraging the adoption of the StaySafe.ph digital contact tracing application; safe reopening of the economy.
The checklist includes the availability of temperature or thermal scanner, health declaration forms, emergency hotlines, hand washing station, sanitizers, physical barriers, storage facility for disposal of used facemask and other infectious wastes, and daily disinfection of the establishment among others.
The Inspection and Certification Team was led by Neal Norberto Belangel, Licensing Officer IV and Nelson Villafor, License Inspector II of BPLO, Ray Marabillo, Sanitation Inspector II of CHO and Ma. Joy Excelcy Deen, Legal Assistant I of CLO.
