
SCC Turns Over Firearms, Equipment to Local PNP

The local government unit of San Carlos City officially turned over the equipment worth P1,038,400 to the local Philippine National Police (PNP). Jan. 13 at the City Mayor’s Office.
Said equipment include 35,200 pieces of 9mm ammunitions; 5 pieces M4 Assault Rifles; F5-DGIS (Direct Gas Impingement System), firing selector; safe, semi-automatic, fully automatic Operating Platform: Direct Gas Impingement; Caliber 5.56 NATO (5.56x45mm), compatible with both M855 and M193 ammunitions and Barrel Length with choices of 10.5 inches, 11.5 inches and 14.5 inches.

San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo and Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona handed over said items to acting San Carlos City PNP Chief of Police LTCOL Jesus Mesahon along with Acting Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office (NOCCPO) Provincial Director PCOL Leo Pamittan; PLT Roby Aurita, Deputy for Administration; PLTCOL Wilfredo Abordo, Deputy Provincial Director for Administration and PLT. Janrey Estuaria.
SP Members Carlos Manuel Valmayor, Benito Gustilo Jr., Jose Carlos Villarante, Wilmer L. Yap, Lorna Y. Hinolan, Jeffrey Hidalgo, Philip Gerard B. Maisog, Mark E. Cui and JB Spring Bacurnay also witnessed the turnover.
