City Inaugurates Newly Renovated Classroom Building

The city government of San Carlos inaugurated the newly renovated 6-classroom building at Ansulag Elementary School in Brgy. Rizal, Feb. 3.

City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo led the short ceremony along with the local Department of Education Representatives headed by Schools Division Superintendent Anthony Liobet, CESO VI, Head Teacher Johnny Engada, and Rev. Fr. Julius G. Tormis who blessed the building.

Jose Fenill M. Libre, Engr. III- DepEd Division Engineer said the renovation costs P2.7 million Pesos sourced from the Basic Educational Facilities Funds (BEFF) 2021 of the national government.

In his talk at said event, Mayor Gustilo urged the teachers and parents in said area to get vaccinated and help the local government in its drive towards achieving herd immunity so everybody can already live back to normal lives.

He also said that the city plans to buy heavy equipment like backhoe and bulldozer that can be used in improving the road networks from Sto. Rosario going to Ansulag Elementary School so the farmers will have easier access in delivering their products to the city.

Also present during the event were Dennis Develos, Asst. Schools Division Superintendent; Herlanie Hisman, Barangay Kagawad of Brgy. Rizal and the school administrators of said school.
