
Leading Hospital in the Province Conducts Caravan in the City

The Riverside Medical Center Inc. (RMC Inc.) in coordination with the San Carlos City Hospital conducted a Grand Caravan with its theme “Shaping the Future of Healthcare Through Partnership Building” in the city, March 21.
Said activity was led by Maria Liza Ferraren, Nursing Director of RMCI together with representatives of the San Carlos City Hospital and San Carlos City Medical Society.


Ferraren said the caravan will promote and popularize its healthcare services to build medical emergency services partnership with Sancarloseños especially with its soon-to-open specialized healthcare services which is the Bacolod Cancer Care Center, the first and only one in the province that will cater specifically to the radiation treatment needs of cancer patients. It will also open a Heart Care and Stroke Center for patients with cardio-vascular problems.
Aside from that said hospital also caters to specialized medical services including catherization laboratory, nuclear medicine, hemodialysis, respiratory therapy services and molecular biology laboratory.
Ferraren also added that Riverside Medical Center offered UNA-Konsulta Services, a one-stop-health shop that is located at the SM City Bacolod Southwing that serves as primary care clinic to patients. It also offers TeleMed which is a health care practice of treating patients remotely when the provider and patient are not physically present with each other using telecommunications technology or online consultation.
After a short motorcade around the city, the RMCI made a short presentation for its various health care services at the San Carlos City Hospital attended by local doctors, nurses and LGU representatives.
Atty. Estefanio S. Libutan Jr., City Administrator, City Legal Officer Atty. Peter Z. Parco, City Hospital Acting Chief Dr. Mary Genevieve Montaño, San Carlos City Hospital Board of Trustee Atty. Joseph Mark Antonio and SCC Hospital Administrative Officer Ma. Consuelo Janice Carmona, CMO-Admin Officer III Charlen Pol Bistis-Anlap and representatives of the local PNP were also present during the information drive.
