La Carlota City Assessor's Office Visits San Carlos

Torrefranca said the visit is in line with their capacity-building wherein they want to learn about the best practices of other LGUs particularly on real property assessment particularly that of the renewable energy industry.

He added that San Carlos City is the best city to visit because of its thriving renewable energy industry having solar and bio-energy power plants and also thanked the city mayor and the Assessor’s Office for accommodating them.

San Carlos City Assessor James R. Silva welcomed Torrefranca and his staff to his office after the courtesy with mayor and presented them their office’s best practices and innovations in doing their assessment of various real properties in the city.

The San Carlos City Assessor’s Office was conferred with the Hall of Fame Award by the Bureau of Local Government Finance-Region 6 in 2013 for its best practices and establishment of a systematic assessment on real property as well as maintaining a system of tax mapping and record management.
