City Kicks Off 3rd Pintaflores Table Tennis Invitational Tourney

The San Carlos City Sports Office formally opened the two-day 3rd Pintaflores Invitational Table Tennis Tournament at the City Auditorium today, Oct. 14.
A total of 73 participating players from Cadiz City, University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos (UNO-R), Dumaguete City, La Carlota City, Municipality of Ilog, Kabankalan City, Municipality of Murcia, Municipality of Calatrava and Municipality of Isabela are playing under the categories 11 under boys and girls, 18 under boys and girls, and women’s and men’s open.
Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona welcomed the participants and said that the tournament is one of Mayor Renato Gustilo’s programs giving children the chance to expose and hone their talents to become better players.
John Mark Cupang, president of San Carlos City Table Tennis Club and Vice Mayor Carmona made the ceremonial serve to start the tournament.
