San Carlos Boxing Team, champion in the Encounter in October

The San Carlos City Boxing team was hailed champion in the boxing event called Encounter in October, a Pintaflores Invitational Amateur Boxing Championship held yesterday, Oct. 30 at the City Auditorium.
Bayawan City boxer was the First Runner-Up followed by the Bacolod City contender as the Second Runner-Up.
Kenshin Jake Arellano of Bacolod City won as the best boxer in the 54kg category.
Sports Office In-Charge Jesus Facundo Combate Jr and Boxing Coordinator Lyndon Sille of City Sports Office gave the trophies and prizes to the winning boxing teams.
At least 32 boxers participated in various matches such as 20kg, 30, 36, 38, 44, 48, 50, and 54 kilograms.
The fighting teams were from different places including Bacolod City, Bayawan City, Don Salvador, and San Carlos City.
