City Wraps Up Football Festival Provincial Qualifying, Winners Awarded

The San Carlos City Negros Football Club (SCCNFC), with Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA), finished the Football Festival Provincial Qualifying and awarded the winners yesterday afternoon, Feb. 26, at the SJRI Field.

San Carlos City and Central Negros, which led the U-16 Girls category were declared champion and 1st runner-up, respectively, while in the U-14 Girls, the Central Negros took home the championship trophy, followed by North Negros, as 1st runner-up.
The South Negros team was the forerunner in U-15 Boys, while San Carlos City settled as 1st runner-up. In the U-13 Boys category, San Carlos City was the champion while North Negros was 1st runner-up.
Pocholo Yuvienco, SCCNFC President, and Jose Miguel Valmayor SCCNFC Vice President encouraged the players to be active in sports, make good with their studies and develop discipline, determination, and dedication.
