City turns over Assault Firearms to Local PNP

City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo turns over 15 Basic Assault Rifle to local PNP led by PLTCOL Jesus B Mesahon Jr at the city hall, yesterday, March 2.
The said firearms consists of 15 units of R 56 assault rifle caliber 5.56×45 mm NATO amounting to P2.9 million funded through the Peace and Order Fund for PNP law enforcement operations.
PLTCOL Jesus Mesahon Jr thanked the city government for the additional firearms for their operation in maintaining peace and order in the city.
The said turn-over was witnessed by members of PNP-SWAT Team, and GSD Office representative Engr. Irving Antonio.
