CDRRMO holds Earthquake Drill in BJMP Compound

The San Carlos City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) conducted an earthquake drill inside the District Jail facility at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Compound yesterday afternoon, March 14.
BJMP personnel and persons deprived of liberty (PDL) participated in the drill.
Local DRRM Assistant Lee Roble said the activity aimed at preparing the participants in case an earthquake occurs since it could hurt people or damage properties.
He also said the CDRRMO continuously conducts earthquake drills in different schools to teach schoolchildren what to do during such calamities.
Before the activity, Roble apprised participants about earthquakes and the known active faults within the city.
