Two-day Friendly Matches held in San Carlos City

A two-day friendly match in football called Dreaming Futbol United of Xavier University was held from March 24-25 at SJRI Field.
The Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) Abanse Negrense with San Carlos City Sports Office and San Carlos City Negros Football Club (SCCNFC) facilitated the event.
Two local teams went up against Xavier University of San Juan, Metro Manila.
The Julio Ledesma National High School (JLNHS) team won against Xavier University with a score of 1-0 yesterday while the match today, between Colegio de Sto. Tomas Recoletos (CST-R) team and Xavier University tied with a 2-all score.
Alistair John C. Layumas, SCCNFC Communications/Secretary said the event is part of the summer camp tour of Xavier University in Negros.
Layumas added that said school chose San Carlos City as venue as it is famous for providing quality football talents for different universities/clubs/teams in the country and is considered one of the best avenues to provide better game exposure and experience.
He also said San Carlos City is already part of Dreaming Futbol United’s itinerary for their Summer Training Camp Tour led by Coach Jason Cutamora of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
