A short program held at the Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA) for the event carries the theme, We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.
SP Member Victoriana C. Cabili, Committee Chair on Women and Family, said most women with disability are not a burden to their families because they still make a living, helping their families in many different ways.
On the other hand, Ma. Consuelo Janice R. Carmona, SCCCAWAI President, encouraged women with disabilities to visit their office if they have any health issues since they are willing to serve them.
Noel S. Constantino, PWD Federation President, thanked the city officials and SCCCAWAI for celebrating the event with them.
SP Member Cabili and Carmona led the distribution of rice to women who joined in the celebration.
Brgy. 3 Kagawad and one of SCCCAWAI’s Board of Directors, Rhea Jane Gustilo, were also present.
