Arlene Manigos, San Carlos City livelihood assistance program (SCCLAP) Designated Project in-charge, said that the amount is a loan granted to the SCCPIA for the fourth time as one of the city’s Top Grossers during the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2014-2015.
Said money was put under the Trust Fund Proper for the livelihood group’s loan assistance, payable in one year without interest.
Jenny Carrillo, President of SCCPIA, said that grant they received is a big help to the peanut processor as their additional capital in preparing for the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023.
She also thanked the LGU-San Carlos and Mayor Gustilo for the said loan.
Carillo accepted the cheque with SCCAPIA Treasurer and Auditor Sherly Barotag and Fidela Mercado.
Francisco Daryl Mascunana Administrative Aide III Project Supervisor and CLDO Cooperative Development Specialist II Grace Nequinto were also present during the turnover.
