Local Peanuts Generates Highest Sales in 2023 Panaad sa Negros Festival

Greaseless peanuts, one of the most recognized products displayed at the San Carlos City Booth generated the highest income during the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2023 Trade Fair from April 17-23, 2023 in Bacolod City.
San Carlos City got P 516,979.50 total income from the said trade fair with P228,852.50 or roughly 44% sales came from peanut products.
Raul de Arce, Admin Aide & Project-in-Charge of the Cooperatives & Livelihood Development Office (CLDO) said they have already anticipated that the product would highly contribute to sales since visitors greatly appreciate peanut products from San Carlos City.
He cited that sometimes, they ran out of stocks as more people want to buy peanuts; added that the city has no furniture display this year that resulted to less sales compared to the previous years.
Other exhibitors during the Panaad Trade Fair are CLDO/BJMP – P88,782.00; Insikwate with an income of P76,645; Jay Constanilla’s decors – P35,500; Sipaway Island products – P15,000; Crunchy Repolyo Chips – P9,100; and Nanay’s Banana Chips – P3,100.
