At least 28 PWUDs who availed and finished their Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) of the city government last January 26 and February 20 were the subjects of the two-day monitoring, but only 23 (13 from So. Sumulog and 10 from proper Buluangan) were interviewed.
Lavern T. Rigor, CBDRP Focal Person and CSWDO Social Welfare Officer II said the 2-year aftercare program aimed at affirming the status of PWUDs after the rehabilitation.
Edena Dagondon, CSWDO Officer-in-Charge, and her staff facilitated the interview while SCCADAC conducted the surprise drug test.
Barangay Kagawad Rey C. Gonzales and tanods of Brgy. Buluangan also assisted in the house-to-house monitoring.
