Local Dancesport Duo Met with Mayor Gustilo

The young local dancesport duo who placed sixth in the recent Panaad sa Negros Latin Dancesport Competition met with San Carlos City Renato Y. Gustilo this morning, April 27, at the City Mayor’s Office.
Both Grade 4 students of Tandang Sora Elementary School under the Special Program in the Arts (SPA), Rigebless A. Peñaflor and Josh Ivan B. Norbe competed last April 20 at Ayala Mall, Bacolod City. Peñaflor and Norbe received a P4,000 cash prize and certificate.
Winross F. Membila, one of the coaches and SPA Specialists, said they are proud of what the dancers achieved during the competition and will continue to harness their skills to excel more in joining other competitions.
Jennifer Saballa-Paran, Officer-in-Charge of the City Tourism Office, staff Autumn Bacurnay and co-coach Charlene Mae M. Tormes accompanied Peñaflor and Norbe during their courtesy visit.
