Team DepEd won against Gaisano-San Carlos with a score of 100-89 Monday night, May 1, in the ongoing Mayor Rene Gustilo Cup 2023 Basketball Tournament Inter-Office Category at Brgy. III Covered Court.

Kleint Miflores was the top scorer in the game with 25 points, while a match between Transcycle and Central Philippines State University followed.

The San Carlos United Players Association Inc., in coordination with the City Sports Office of the local government, facilitated the tournament.
