San Carlos City Athletes Show Awards to Mayor Gustilo & Vice-Mayor Carmona

San Carlos City athletes who came from the recently concluded Western Visayas Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet 2023 presented their medals to City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo and Vice-Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona this morning, May 4, at the City Mayor’s Office.
 
Said athletes include Alexandra Nicole C. Gabrines of Julio Ledesma National High School, Billiards Girls Secondary 8 and 9 Balls gold medalist; Hernan II Illusorio & Kirby Ramacho of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos, Tennis Boys Secondary Double gold medalist; Rhena Gimarangan of the Special Education, Paragame Girls Shot Put and Long Jump gold medalist and Paragame Girls 100 M event silver medalist; Earl Joshua Villamor, Paragame Boys Relay silver medalist, and Paragame Boys Shot Put bronze medalist; John Aaron Dancil of Tañon College, Tennis Boys Secondary Single bronze medalist; and Greenville Elementary School Football Team, silver medalist. San Carlos City won 10 medals, 5 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.
Mayor Gustilo congratulated the winning athletes and gave them monetary prizes thru Airene Rose N. Gustilo, Executive Assistant IV of the City Mayor’s Office.
Gold medalists will compete in the Clustered Pre-National Qualifying Meet in Cebu City on July 17-21, 2023, before the Palarong Pambansa on July 29 to August 5 in Marikina City.
SDS-OIC Dennis G. Develos of the Department of Education-San Carlos City Division; Arnold C. Mancao, Education Program Supervisor of the School Governance and Operations Division; and coaches accompanied the players during the courtesy visit.
