The Information Technology & Computer Services Office (ITCSO) through Felix Michael F. Oberes, Information Systems Analyst II, conducted a demonstration and discussion to the Business Permit & Licensing Office (BPLO) staff about the upcoming e-BOSS (Online Application of Business Permits, Billing and Payment).

Through this new way of Renewal of Business Permits, Billing and Payment, it saves time and effort as businesses can now renew their permits and pay their bills online without having to physically go to government offices or payment centers. This means that businesses can focus on their core activities and save on transportation costs and time spent on queueing, giving more convenience as businesses can access their accounts and make payments at any time and from any location with an internet connection.
According to Mr. Oberes, “It is more secure as online payment platforms use encryption technology to protect sensitive information, reducing the risk of fraud and theft. It is efficient as the system automatically updates payment records and issues receipts, reducing the likelihood of errors and the need for manual data entry.”
Mr. Neal Norberto S. Belangel, Licensing Officer IV of the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), added that the online application has improved the efficiency and effectiveness of the permit application process, enabling faster processing and release of permits.
Overall, online renewal of business permits, billing, and payment offers numerous advantages for businesses, making the process faster, more convenient, secure, and efficient.
The said Online Renewal of Business Permits, Billing and Payment will likely start in a few months.
