PESO Conducts Career Coaching to Graduating Students
MAY 10, 2023
The San Carlos City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) conducted career coaching for Julio Ledesma National High School (JLNHS) senior high school students this afternoon, May 10, at the San Carlos City Auditorium.

Almost 500 grade 12 students under the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, Accountancy and Business Management (ABM) strand, Technical Vocational Livelihood Track (TVL), and Arts and Design Track (ADT) participated in the orientation.
Labor and Employment Assistant l, Amid A. Elnas, Jose Larry P. Sortegosa, Clerk 1; and PESO staff Francis Paul P. Margaha and Melinda T. Ortigas were the resource persons of the orientation who discussed emerging careers and relevant skills in the new normal, and pre-employment orientation seminar.
Mariel Avenir, PESO Manager, said the program aimed at preparing the students whether they proceed to college or work and sharing how their lives would be if they decide to work rather than continue schooling.
Avenir hoped that students would avail assistance from PESO such as training, Student Educational Assistance Thru Short-term Employment (SEAS), Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES), or seek work locally and abroad.
Grade 12 HUMSS students Lucky Shane Tingal and Nhica Solitario thanked PESO for the orientation; said it provided them with an alternative plan if they cannot proceed to college.
