Raul B. Morales Jr., CPDCO Clerk II, discussed the legal bases, pre-formulation, and formulation of the Barangay Development Plan where among the participants of the workshop are stakeholders and contributors of the said barangay such as the representatives of the senior citizen , health, religious, education, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), and other identified sectors.

 

The Barangay Development Plan is an official document of the barangay that specifies policy options, programs, projects, and activities intended to contribute towards achieving the barangay’s development goals.

 

Gina Bantillo, Admin Officer V of the CPDCO, said the current plan of the barangay has already expired, which is why it needs updating since it is the barangay’s guide on programs, projects, and activities to implement in the next three years.

 

Punong Barangay Joselito T. Lopez of Brgy. 1 said the workshop helps them identify what should be implemented for the constituents and understand budget handling.

 

He also thanked LGU-San Carlos, headed by City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo, for the support.
