Silva said it’s their way of comparing different approaches in office management. He added that just because San Carlos City had won several awards and the Hall of Fame for assessment, doesn’t mean they stopped being good.

 

“It’s now that we need to get better since more is being expected of us especially since we were recently chosen as the pilot office in Region 6 for the Local Government Reform Project (LGRP) by the Bureau of Local Government Finance of the Department of Finance (BLGF-DOF)”, Silva said.

 

The group went to the Assessor’s Office of the Cities of Sagay, Cadiz, Himamaylan, Kabankalan, and Sipalay.

 

Kabankalan City Administrator Atty. McLord Zafra said they also planned to make benchmarking activity in San Carlos City since it is known for its award-winning best practices.
