Capt. Rowell Dairocas, Civil Military Operations Officer of 79th IB said that the activity was a series of dialogues between various government agencies and the participants that aimed at extending government programs to the latter; making the government closer to them; hearing out their concerns and issues; and, warning them not to fall victims of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).

Alma Amban, alleged mass supporter thanked the government for its action in reaching out to them because it made them realized that giving support to said rebel groups would only create serious repercussions not only on their own lives but on the government as a whole.
Julieto Canoy, former member of the CPP-NPA-NDF and who also served as resource person of said activity said that ever since he surrendered he was active in helping the government in its effort to protect the people especially those in the mountain barangays against the recruitment of said rebels.
Members of the 79th IB have also identified several issues presented by the participants during their initial meeting which include farm to market roads and health centers to be put up in their respective areas.
