City Conducts Turn Over Ceremony of Official Documents and Responsibilities

The city government of San Carlos thru its Local Transition Team facilitated the ceremony for the turn-over of official documents and responsibilities by the outgoing San Carlos City Mayor to the incoming City Mayor, this afternoon, June 27, 2019 at the SP Session Hall.

city officials and local functionaries, yesterday at the SP session hall


San Carlos City outgoing City Mayor and Congressman-Elect for the 1st District of Negros Occidental Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr. said that even if he is no longer the mayor, he will always be there for the city as the congressman and so as Governor Elect Eugenio “Bong” Lacson.
Valmayor also encouraged department heads to continue to contribute for the development of the city and the services it provides to the people especially under the new leadership of Mayor-Elect Renato Y. Gustilo.
Gustilo on the other hand also assures those present that he will continue the programs and projects left by Valmayor and to ensure a more beautiful and progressive San Carlos City in the future.

Engr. Magnolia B. Antonio, OIC of City Planning & Development Coordinator’s Office and Focal Person of the Local Transition Team initiated said ceremony in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government to ensure a smooth local governance transition after the oath taking of city officials on June 30, 2019.
The short rite was attended by all Sangguniang Panlungsod members both by the incumbent and newly elected ones headed by Vice Mayor-Elect Christopher Paul S. Carmona and department heads and employees of the city hall.
