The city government of San Carlos thru its Information Technology & Computer Services Office (ITCSO) presented to the Department of Information & Communications Technology (DICT) its first entry for Digital Governance Awards, today, October 11.

The ITCSO’s entry was about the CCTV project of the city under the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO) headed by Joe Recalex Alingasa Jr.
The CDRRMO staff with Alingasa faced a panel of judges from the DICT thru a zoom conference facilitated by the ITCSO where Alingasa answered all the questions thrown by the judges.
Alingasa said the CCTV project was materialized as one of the pro-active measures taken by the city to help address the local peace and order situation and improve the CDRRMO’s emergency response.
Some of the questions hurled at the presenters include the impact and sustainability of the project and the benefits that the general public experienced from its installation.
City Administrator Atty. Estefanio S. Libutan Jr. was also present during said evaluation with the representatives from the ITCSO, the City Planning & Development Coordinator’s Office and the Information Office.
The other entry is the VAMOS App to be presented to the DICT on Oct. 14, 2021.
