PCA Orients Local Coconut Farmers
The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) in Negros Occidental province thru PCA Coconut Dev't. Officer Anne Maridel Candelorio conducted an orientation on Acceleratory Coconut Planting & Replanting Project (ACPRP) to members of the San Carlos City, Neg. Occ. Coconut Industry Federation, Inc. for two days, May 2-3, 2019.

Participants were guided on how to plant coconut trees the right way and how to get rid and control various pests that cause damage to coconuts. Candelorio told coconut farmers that they will be paid P18.00 for every seedlings generated and another P22.00 for every seedlings planted. Said activity was initiated by the city government of San Carlos thru the Cooperatives & Livelihood Dev't. Office (CLDO) which venue was held at CLDO activity area at public transport terminal.
