NOLITC Ext Starts On-Site Scholarship Recruitment

The Negros Occidental Languages & Information Technology Center (NOLITC) in San Carlos City already started its On-Site Recruitment of Scholars today, Oct. 25, 2017.

Said activity was conducted at its newly opened extension center at the old city hospital building in front of the public plaza beside the City Library.

Participants to said recruitment of scholars was recorded around 50 applicants as of this morning to qualify for the two available short courses for free, the Contact Center Service with National Certification II for 144 hours and English Language Proficiency for 100 hours.

Recruitment for said scholars was under the Negros First Training for Work Scholarship program of NOLITC facilitated by the Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Office (CLDO).

After said training, the NOLITC would also help beneficiaries for job placements with its partner agencies.

Qualifiers to said scholarship include 18 years old and above, unemployed, high school graduate or college level, passer of the pre-assessment examination and no scholarship with TESDA.

The opening of said NOLITC ext in the city resulted from the successful job placements of beneficiaries previously trained in Bacolod City who now enjoy high paying jobs at call centers.
