City Conducts Training For Neighboring Emergency Responders

San Carlos City thru its City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) pulled off the last five days of the series of trainings for members of various local emergency response teams of the areas near San Carlos City last Jan. 9-13, 2018.

LDRRM Assistant Rouel Riantoco said that the free training conducted by the CDRRMO staff aimed at sharing the standard first aid and basic life support and making collaboration with responders from Escalante City and the municipalities of Toboso, Don Salvador Benedicto, and Vallehermoso especially when it comes to emergency outside San Carlos City area.

Toboso LDRRMO Officer-In-Charge Hospicio Carbajosa Jr. and Escalante’s CDRRMO head Marites Olorga thanked San Carlos City for imparting said beneficial training to them.

Said responders have earlier undergone the Community Managed Disaster Risk Reduction Seminar scheduled last Nov 23-25 and Community-Emergency Response Training last Dec. 6-8 of 2017.
