San Carlos District Jail Gets New Vehicle

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology of San Carlos City in Negros Occidental was given another vehicle for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) which was blessed this morning within its vicinity.
Said vehicle was purchased by the city government of San Carlos in the amount of P1,150,000 taken from the lump sum appropriation 2017 of the City Mayor's Office.

Said vehicle will be used in transporting PDLs from jail to court or transferring them to another jail facility within the province.
The newly installed District Jail Warden Kevin Bonilla said that the giving of said vehicle is one good example of the strong support of the city government to the district jail.
Mayor Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr on the other hand also expressed joy in helping national agencies in San Carlos that needs assistance, "Gikalipay namo nga mutabang dili lang ngadto sa BJMP kundi lakip napud sa ubang national agencies nga nagkinahanglan ug assistance sa syudad", he said.
Present during said turn over and blessing of new vehicle was Chief Inspector Atty. Jairus Anthony Dogelio, Jail Provincial Administrator of BJMP and other local guests.
Rev. Fr. Edwin Laude of the Diocese of San Carlos led the blessing of said vehicle.
