CEMO's New Garbage Equipment Blessed

The City Environment Management Office (CEMO) had its new equipment consisting of one 4x4 garbage truck (canter-type) worth P1,090,000 and two XRM 125cc motorcycles amounting to P164,000 blessed this afternoon, Aug. 16, 2018 at city grounds.

Patricio Palencia Jr of Integrated Waste Management/Pollution Control Division of CEMO said the new Garbage truck will be used in hauling residual wastes from the material recovery facility (MRF) in upland barangays while the motorcycles are for CEMO's information education campaign (IEC) and forestry division's monitoring of the rehabilitation of Andoon River watershed project.

He added that said new canter-type garbage truck is an addition to the existing 9 garbage trucks of CEMO consisting of 5 compactor and 4 open dump truck.
