City gives incentive to outstanding local

The city government of San Carlos provided to Caporas said financial compliment for bringing honor to the city by being a Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipino Awardee in 2019 through his valor and contribution during the five-month Marawi Seige in 2017.

Present at the event were Congressman Gerardo Valmayor, Vice Mayor Christopher Paul Carmona along with the City Councilors Philip Gerard Maisog, Carlos Manuel Valmayor and JB Spring Bacurnay.
Caporas who is a member of the Philippine army for 21 years was recognized for his excellence in serving the public as a team supervisor and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician of the EOD Battalion during the Marawi siege which resulted in the recovery and proper disposal of around 1,000 improvised explosive devices.
Caporas received a cash incentive of one million pesos, a gold medallion and a trophy from Metrobank Foundation.
