A fire broke and gutted the famous old city hall of San Carlos City located at corner V. Gustilo and Azcona Streets around 11:00 o’clock in the morning up to 12:39 in the afternoon last April 30, 2016.

The fire started in the house occupied by Broce family at the back annexed said building due to an oil lamp used by the family following hours of blackout.
