TESDA Meets Local Functionaries on Trainings for RCSP

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Negros Occidental thru the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) San Carlos held a Consultative meeting with San Carlos City Mayor Rentao Y. Gustilo and different representatives of various agencies today, Feb. 8 at the CDRRMO Function Hall.
Bayani E. Gofredo, TESDA Provincial Director said that the meeting is to bring skills training for rebel returnees and indigenous people of the 5 identified Barangays in the city: Quezon, Codcod, Guadalupe, Nataban, and Buluangan.

Said meeting discussed the Poverty Reduction, Livelihood, and Employment Cluster – Retooled Community Support Program in line with the Executive Order 70 (EO 70) of the President or the Whole of Nation Approach to End Local Communist and arm conflict.
Said cluster aimed at developing self-reliant, resilient, and sustainable communities through harmonized and culturally responsive development programs.
City Planning & Development Coordinator Engr. Magnolia B. Antonio assured that the City Government of San Carlos will support the program and closely work with TESDA.
