SCCADAC LAUNCHES MURAL PAINTING CONTEST

The San Carlos City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (SCCADAC) headed by City Mayor Gerardo P. Valmayor, Jr. announces its Mural Painting Contest which is open to public high schools in the city on October 16, 2015.

Winners will received a plaque and P3,000 cash and cellphone for the 1st Prize; P2,500 for the 2nd Prize; and, P2,000 for the 3rd Prize.

SCCADAC through said competition aimed at educating the youth on the ill-effects of illegal drugs and involving them in its drive against it as well as strengthening the local community’s active participation in curbing the spread of said illegal drugs in the city.

Said contest was co-sponsored by Vice-Gov. Eugenio Lacson, Congressman Jules Ledesma IV, Dexter’s Pizza/10.9 Resto, Powerlink, Mr. Raymond Laguda, Mr. Dennis Tan Yu, Brgy. Capt. Of Brgy. IV Armando Laguda, Jr., Garden of Saints, Carmel’s Inn, SACASOL, Gaisano San Carlos, Lola Nitang’s Pension, and YCT.

SCCADAC is represented by various local government agencies including the City Health Office, Philippine National Police, City Information Office, City Legal Office, Justice Department, City Social Welfare and Development Office, Association of Barangay Captains, Department of Education and the Religious Sector.
