Sangguniang Panlungsod Conducts Public Hearing on the Proposed "Anti-Loitering and Anti-Half-Naked Ordinance" in San Carlos City
San Carlos City government held a public hearing today thru the Sangguniang Panlungsod for the "PROPOSED ORDINANCE PROHIBITING LOITERING AND ROAMING HALF-NAKED IN PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF SAN CARLOS, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES".
Said public hearing was presided by SP Member Benito Allen Y. Gustilo, Jr., Chairman of the Committee on Police Matters, Fire and Penology with SP Member Jonie S. Uy.
Proposed penalties for violation include warning for first offense; P300.00 fine or 8 hours of community service for 2nd offense; and, 3 to 5 days imprisonment for 3rd offense.
