4Ps, Recipient of Another DSWD Project
31 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4P’s) beneficiaries of San Carlos City are now undergoing a 27-day Household Services NC II training conducted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region 6 at the Consuelo Alger Community Center in Brgy. Rizal.

Said skills training which started March 7, 2016 was budgeted at P373,416 under the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of DSWD and comprised 4 competencies namely; cleaning living room, dining room, bedrooms toilet and kitchen; washing and ironing clothes, linen and fabric; preparing hot and cold meals/food and providing food and beverages services.
Marlene Bacabac of Our Lady of Mercy College-Bacolod, Inc., who served as trainer said participants will also undergo Arabic and Chinese cooking, centerpiece making, table skirting, table napkin folding and food and vegetable carving.
Bacabac added that after 18 days of training, participants will proceed to Our Lady of Mercy College-Bacolod, Inc. to further their training which will include personality development and additional class on first aid.
After the training each participant will receive certificate of completion while the national certificate will be given after the assessment provided by Our Lady of Mercy College-Bacolod, Inc.
