San Carlos City, Cleanest Pavilion in Panaad Festival 2016
San Carlos City booth emerged as the “Cleanest & Greenest Destination Pavilion” during the 23rd Panaad Festival celebration last April 22, 2016. Said award entailed a trophy and a cash prize of P5,000.00.

Meanwhile, the city’s place as Top Grosser in Sales in 2015 was now occupied by the Municipality of Calatrava which gathered a sales of P1,412,155.00 against San Carlos City’s P1,201,191.00 only which made it second while Cadiz City made it as 3rd with its total sales of P876,357.000 only.
In the Indigay sa Sayaw for the Maria Clara category, San Carlos City’s Julio Ledesma National High School Singing Galaw Dance Troop clinched the 3nd prize with its rendition of Jota Quirino and won P25,000 while Kabankalan made it to 2nd place and won P30,000. Grand winner for this contest was from Cadiz City which won P45,000.
In the Lin-ay Sang Negros beauty contest San Carlos City’s Roselle Ann Ramas made it to the Top Ten and received P5,000 while bringing home the Miss Globe award. Lin-ay sang Negros crowned beauty was Alyssa Louise Erika Jimenea of Victoias City.
