Said donation came from the Aid for Orphanage Relief Foundation (AORF) and facilitated by Dr. Ann Celeste Mapas-Dimaya, a native of San Carlos who is now based in the US and daughter of Mr. Leon and Mrs. Teresita Mapas.

Donated medicines are intended for common ailments including Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), hypertension, amoebic dysentery, and antibiotics for children among others.

Dr. Dimaya told San Carlos City Health Officer Dr. Arniel Laurence Portuguez thru a letter of her group’s plan to donate more medicines and asked him about specific medicines that he wants to get so her group would know what to send as donation in a quarterly basis.

City Health Nurse Jocelyn Amoy opened said boxes of medicines in the presence of City Mayor Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr., SP Member Victoriana Cabili, Dr. Portuguez, Mrs. Teresita Mapas and CHO staff.
