San Carlos City government had the blessing and turn-over ceremony of its Regional Evacuation center to the local CDRRMO yesterday, Feb. 14, 2019.
Said facility funded by NDRRMO thru DPWH at P34.69M includes huge accommodation room, training area, laundry building, comfort rooms for male and female, generator area and waste disposal facility.
OCD Reg. VI Regional Director Jose Roberto Nunez, DILG Provincial Director Carmelo Orbista,DSWD Representative Luna Moscoso and DOH Representative Candelaria Salem were present during said inauguration.
One (1) Day DRRM Training for Basic Sectors, Feb. 14, 2019 at Carmel's Inn and Restaurant
The training was facilitated by City Disaster Risk Reduction and Mgt. Council (CDRRMO) with cooperation of National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), DND-Office of Civil Defense-6, Department of Science and Technology (DOST). Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)-Mines and Geosciences Bureau-6. The event is attended by City Mayor Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr.
