The Philippine National Police (PNP)-San Carlos City visited Pano-olan Elementary School thru its Oplan BES or Bisita Eskwela I am Strong program today, March 12.
At least 56 grade 5 and 6 pupils participated in the orientation on the Anti-Bullying Act 2013, Rights of the Child, illegal drugs and their effects, and deceptive recruitment in the youth sector. OPLAN BES aimed to strengthen police-community partnership and sustain crime prevention efforts and bring positive public perception towards the PNP.
Resource persons during the activity were Police Corporal M. Krystal Cielo Cabatuan, PSMS Angelie Oferio, Patrolwoman Liza Delima, and Patrolman Levi Pardillo of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
Aside from the orientation, the 188 kinder to grade 6 pupils also enjoyed macaroni soup, pandesal bread, and ice cream prepared by the agency.
Officer-in-Charge and Master Teacher 2 Marilyn P. Paderna thanked the PNP for choosing their school as one of the beneficiaries of the Oplan BES program where children are not only given food but also gain information regarding important issues in society.
