At least 35 coaches from the different local government units in Negros Occidental joined the week-long Philippine Youth Coaching Certificate Course from March 19-25, 2024, at the SCC Multi-Purpose Hall, Park Marina, San Carlos City.

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF), City Sports Office and San Carlos City Negros Football Club (SCCNFC) facilitated the event for coaches from San Carlos, Bacolod, Escalante, Silay, and Talisay Cities and the Municipality of Calatrava.

PFF Coaching Education Head Coach Bob Salvacion and Instructor Coach Tirso Ramon Roa were the resource persons.

PFF Coach Salvacion said that the coaching course aimed at enhancing coaches’ football techniques and strategies for players’ well-being.

He also said the participants would undergo lectures, practical exercises, and an examination before receiving the certificate.

He is happy that various coaches from different areas were interested in the course held in San Carlos City at the request of SCCNFC. He thanked the local government of San Carlos, 1st District of Negros Occidental Representative Gerardo P. Valmayor Jr., and SCCNFC for their support.
