City Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Magnolia Antonio advised the punong barangays to meet all the requirements for smooth implementation of projects.

On the other hand, Community Development Officer III Dan Donald S. Candare said the national government allocated another P11.6M for the second cycle of projects for the barangay beneficiaries, including Prosperidad and Bagonbon.

He added that they should accomplish the requirements including orientation and social preparation, among other activities, before the DSWD downloads funds and construction of identified projects starts.

Atty. Estefanio Libutan Jr. said that PAMANA is a testament to the commitment to peace-building and development in vulnerable and conflict affected areas, while the Kalahi-CIDSS stands as a united front against poverty and promoting community empowerment through participatory planning, decision-making, and resource allocation.

Libutan hoped that the orientation would inspire and result in more collaborative efforts, and contribute to the betterment of society.

The Kalahi-CIDSS-PAMANA projects aimed at reducing poverty in target beneficiaries, assisting in the economic recovery of the poor and marginalized, and capacitating communities to protect themselves from the effects of plausible similar disasters and risks brought by conflict.
