Municipality of San Rafael barangay officials stopped over in San Carlos City to learn about tourism programs, projects, and activities today, May 13.

The group consisted of 9 punong barangays, secretaries, treasurers, and kagawads, led by Liga ng mga Barangay President (LnB) Jeopert Arandilla paid courtesy to City Vice Mayor Christopher Paul S. Carmona and LnB President Alfredo Martin Cui.

Tourism Operations Officer I Jennifer Saballa-Paran welcomed the group and presented an overview of the city; attractions highlighting Sipaway Island’s marine protected area, foods/delicacies and the Pintaflores Festival; tourism programs, projects, and activities; awards and recognition; and the Sipaway Island ecotourism project.

Municipality of San Rafael LnB President Arandilla said they were happy to learn about San Carlos City’s tourism practices and thanked the local government unit for the warm welcome.

Saballa accompanied the group during their running tour around the city proper before heading to Cebu City for their 3-day district convention.
