The first Provincial Management Coordinating Council (PMCC) meeting, headed by DILG Negros Occidental Provincial Director Teodora Sumagaysay, took place this morning, May 13 at the City Administrator’s Office.

Members of PMCC, including the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, BJMP, and other line agencies within DILG, gathered to present their accomplishments, initiatives, projects, and plans for the current and upcoming years.

The first to arrive and extend courtesy to City Administrator Atty. Estefanio S. Libutan Jr. were JSSupt. Marie Rose J. Laguyo, MPSA, Assistant Regional Director for Administration of BJMP Region 6 and concurrent BJMP Neg. Occ.

Provincial Jail Administrator, along with BJMP Provincial Administrative & Operations Officer, Jail Senior Inspector (JSINSP) Atty. Juniven Rey S. Umadhay, and PJAO Staff JO2 Lawrence B. Abaygar and JO1 Heide May S. Bandoquillo.

Laguyo thanked the local government officials of San Carlos City for their support, especially to the San Carlos City Jail, and for their cooperation in implementing plans and programs within the regional bureau, especially in the Provincial Jail Administrator’s Office.

She highlighted the training conducted last year on community health and well-being, which trained Katatagan, Kalusugan at Damayan ng Komunidad (KKDK) facilitators, supported by the Local Government Unit of San Carlos.
