San Carlos City gov’t. thru Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo held a meeting on City Convergence Committee (CCC) yesterday, March 1, at the City Mayor’s Office.

Said meeting was attended by local Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD)-Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) personnel and 18 Punong Barangay Officials.

The agenda include 4Ps success stories, Social Welfare Development Indicator (SWDI) assessment results, presentation of households for turnover, PSA registration/authentication in partnership with DSWD 4Ps, and Enhanced Support Service Intervention- Cash for Work (ESSI-CFW).

4Ps Provincial Operation Office 1, Cluster 1 SWO III Joseph Alexander Ku, Registered Social Welfare (RSW) said that CCC tackles the presentation on the 4Ps updates where SWDI assessment results that leveled the status of the beneficiaries to survival, subsistence, and self sufficient was presented; adding beneficiaries with survival and subsistence level of well-being were prioritized for appropriate assistance and that SWDI is administered every 6 months to present updates on the beneficiary’s improvement.

He shared that through the meeting, the lgu could also formulate programs, projects, and funds allocation that suits the beneficiaries’ needs.

Mayor Gustilo also emphasized the importance of family planning and to not just rely on the government’s help.

City Link- Team Leader and Project Development Officer II Mark Gethyn Barro also thanked the LGU-San Carlos headed by Mayor Gustilo for the support given.

Meanwhile, a massive 4Ps PSA registration and authentication will take place this March 4-7 at the City Auditorium, and Brgy. 1 covered court on March 8.
